The new Race is getting all the attention in the 2015 Starboard range, and that has concealed the fact that the Sprint has received a considerable facelift and tummy tuck. I suspect it will be hard to beat in the sprint racing at Supfest early next year. It's 14' x 23" (there's no wide boy version), it's recommended for paddlers up to 75kg, and it weighs just over 11kg itself. Check out this short vid...

Very flashy.. very jumpy.. looks fast.. Interesting that the blunt nose doesn't push water.. Great vid..

I'd like to see big Stu paddle it.. I think you'd need to plug up the gap in the tail to stop the water rushing in..

Great clip PT. Hopefully you and others can share more real experience with the new Starboard Sprint 14x23. The Starboard race lineup looks very impressive for 2015.

I am pretty sure it's going to take my full 90 kg of love puff no worries. Last years 24 was fine.

It certainly doesn't feel any tippier to me compared with last year's 24" so I'm sure your love puffs will get the job done.

Is there any max. speed difference compared to last year 14x24 ? Is stance any wider to last year 14x24?
