Hey Brothers of the Brooms,

I am about to take part in the White Ribbon Foundation "Trek for Respect" in September 2017. The trek is being held to raise funds to educate young people about domestic and family violence and how to have respectful relationships.
After working in the community service sector for the past 12 x years I have seen and worked with many young people affected directly from family violence. In 2013 I became I White Ribbon Ambassador as my work moved to working with Men and now working with Men who are enacting violence within their families and are looking for a better way to do their relationships.
I am asking anyone who would like to donate straight to white Ribbon to support my cause. Please follow this link:trek4respect.everydayhero.com/au/sign-up
All donation are tax deductible and very appreciated.
I will be at Scotts Head Comp this weekend I you would like to say hey or learn anything about the Trek or the work we do in Men's Domestic Violence Behaviour Change Programs http://stepupmate.com.au/on the Mid North Coast of NSW. Cheers Ian Robinson

Well done MyBro, awesome attitude and a cause well worth supporting.

It is a shame that a lot of men do not step up to the mark as a reasonable person.

I hope you get a lot of support and others take on your very worthwhile cause.

ET.

Legend mate! If only one kid doesn't have to go through trauma because of all the stuff you do in your career with white ribbon you've done an amazing job. I'm guessing it will be much more but you will never be able to know, like speed cameras and r b ts stopping someone dying on the road. I bet there is a person who is having dinner with their family right now, instead of being dead...because of the police doing these things. But they will never know. Same as this stuff you do.

Hey Joe,

Mate I really appreciate your kind words, but I am no legend, just sick of seeing the violence and abuse and had to take a stand as hard as it is at times.
All our Women deserve way better then the deal they are getting.
Cheer,
Ian

So you're happy to help out if it's for women in the US.. but not for women in Oz?

Just kidding.. .. btw it's great that they have PayPal on their system and you can easily offer any amount no matter how big or small.

Just a reminder that tax time is coming and all donations over $5 are tax deductible and going to a great cause, helping us teach our young Men the right way to treat our Girls and Women.

Much appreciated DJ, I could rattle off some more very sobering stats but if anyone is interested go to : www.whiteribbon.org.au/ read Simone's story

Its why we are targeting early intervention/primary prevention strategies to educate kids cause in 2017 this sh%t shouldn't be happening to our mothers. aunties, cousins, sisters, daughters and friends

Hey Brothers and Sisters of SUP,
The response to my post has been massive and I have exceeded my fund raising goal by nearly $500, but we are still going hard to raise as much as possible to help end Men's violence against Women in OZ. To those legends who donated and spread the word on my cause, HUGE thank you to you.
Cheer,
Ian "Robbo" Robinson
