Cant make it, as working fri-sat, is there anywhere else to check out the boards in Vic over the weekend?
We did our demo day today what an awesome range of boards and what a great and knowledgable bloke running the tour. Starby, just when you thought they couldnt get prettier they prove you wrong.
yet the $64,000 question is........oops i meant the $3,600 question is are they worth it....let me know peeps
Great day today, with all the boards to try and SUP Polo as well. Tomorrow we go down winding with the new boards. Woohoo!
I agree PT that was an excellent day. It was great to try all the boards I have only seen in mags and on the net.
Standouts for me were the new 14' Allstar and the Hypernut. The Allstar is heaps more stable than last years model and just felt really comfortable. The Hypernut was awesome in flat water so I can only imagine what it would be like in the surf. It was also incredibly stable and tracked surprisingly well. Thanks Paul, Ivan and Rod.
Good to see you there Antho. Huge fun. Great light Downwinder today, got to try the new 14'x28" Allstar Downwinder which was very easy to catch runners and super stable even in cross chop. Got to go on the Ace GT again which I just love. Made the most of the conditions.
Was impressed wit the new 14' Allstars, paddled the the 27 and the 28 back-to-back in some windy slop this morning, both very well mannered upwind and they pick up a bump easy. Would be hard to choose between the two.
