Yesterday was the middle of Winter.. Cold but nice and sunny..

Yes.. My 9'1"x32" Hokua.. .. (Notice I almost did a turn)..

Yeah it was close ..but hard to do with ya pole in the air ..but we like the footage .great sup wave .
I'm sure you do do a few turns when no filming .
I have been surfing my 11'glide.......a little scaring at times on the big ones over 2 foot
but you have to hang at the back to get the nose out and slide down the face before. The wave gets too steep.
first thing I done was change the fin to a 10.5 dolphin fin .What a huge difference ..totally different board ..
love the Hokua s ....i use mine on the bigger days .9.6 rips....can't wait to get my 11 Nalu next week For those small days .

So I have traveled all the way to the Maldives and the weather is better back home!!

Thankfully we have had plenty of good weather too and some AMAZING surf - better even than at zappers!
