Great post mac , that was a solid wave , nasty take off. Those guys ripped in those conditions . I'm pretty sure that was Keahi near the beginning of the second clip 5th wave red V on the nose.
To the Mac users could you play the clip without downloading it I tried downloading the flash player extension but it wouldn't load ..strange format clip ?
Awesome.. Congrats Bonga.. Shame he didn't make that take off on that bomb.. maybe good for him that he didn't.. .. btw.. that board that Kai Lenny uses is no longer a custom or proto.. It's the new 8.0 that's now in their range.
DJ
Anybody know what Ikaika is riding these days? Doesn't look like the PSH logo but I could be wrong. Loved watching Leco in the Friday freeSUP vid.
nice dj
checkout peyo's ice-cream scooped out deck......at 2:50
his bottomhand turns are so powerful
some great surfing from the boys
man kai just looks some much better than the boys going straight up vert at the lip then straight down and doing it again
sick!!!!!!
I use a Mac and the videos play fine. Not flawless, just fine.
My browser is the updated version of Chrome and I didn't download any kind of plugins. If anything, it seems that sometimes I just have to use the slider to advance a couple of seconds and then it starts loading.
As for the surfing, I was rally impressed by Kai, Peyo, Sean Pointer and this new upcoming kid from France. Still has a way to go, but being 17yo and having a surf stile that resembles Kai, is a very good way to go.
In what concerns to the final results, and if there aren't any waves from Bonga missing on that video, i'd say that Kai was ripped off, as he showed the most commited, progressive and under control surf of the event.
Jus sayin'...
