Just got back from a camping trip with the kids. Surfed 3 days in a row with the kids in great rolling waves that gave the kids some of the longest rides they have had yet. The break only gets waves in winter in certain conditions but is so much fun. On the third day I had the great pleasure of SUPing with Peter Dunn on his 60th birthday one of W.A.s great characters, he SUPed right from the start and is a true gentleman. Pete was stoked to surf with the kids and shared and called them into many waves. These days I count sessions with my kids where they get loads of waves and have lots of fun as some of my best sessions. By the way, the photographer is my 9 year old (see selfie shot) who got some waves herself and did some very cool tandem surfing with yours truly. Great holiday.
Hey Fergus
Thats classic mate
Nothing in the world beats surfing with your kids.
Just got back from a school holiday, family Yamba run.
After two weeks of SUP surfing classic little North Coast beachies I put the wife and youngest on the plane in Ballina for the trip home and then took a leisurely cruise back down the Pacific Highway with my 15 year old son. Good times.
Only drama was I tried to keep up with the young bloke on his shorty and blew out my one good knee while surfing classic little A frames at North Haven!!
Cheers
Sparx
Nice to see you drop in on your kids too lot of sand move round down there little bird told me some of those points were working my point has had a intruder
Hey Stimo,
he snaked me ! Look at the second last photo of the young fella and look at the splash out near the horizon. There were loads of whales going off out there all week. If seen loads of them this year both in Perth and down south. Can you believe these photos were taken by a 9 year old with a Panasonic point and shoot (DMC - FT2)
