Thinking of applying for a promotion which would put me in Gladstone.

Does anyone on here know if there is surf around Gladstone or is it a case of heading down the Agnes?

Cheers,

Barrie

Waves not in Gladstone directly but a short drive and YEP! Spent a year on Curtis island, Agnes is your best bet, I spent a few of my days off at the Tannum sands surf club. Depending on tides and weather activity there are waves out the front. log on to Gladstone Ports Corperation web page, they have a live surf cam of Tannum and Agnes , ( probably one of the best surf webcams in OZ)so you can check it anytime live from anywhere. One of my favourite places in the country, I really enjoyed my time over there, always plenty to do in that neck of the woods.
Check it out, might be waves there now!!

Work on alcatraz in gladdy harbour. Live at aggy. A rare ripple can be had at Tannum. 3 good beaches at aggy - main, workmans and springs. Some secret spots nearby. I'd tell you where but then i'd have to....you know.

Cheers Fellas, thought waves would be rare, but hoping there was some secret spots, maybe around the islands.
