Good post Surf FX. Great shop and really well stocked with everything that we all need. i have just seen a post in the kite board section where there was a discussion about buying online vs supporting your local shop. i was a retailer for over 30 years and the last 11 years in technology products until I sold up 7 months ago. The problem now is that retailers and most businesses face is how to relevant relevant in today's connected world.
This is a good start. You have a large investment in stock across windsurfing, kiting and Standup and are putting your money where your mouth is. Congratulations on being there for all of us wind and surf addicts. I don't know what level of service you provide but the cleaner looked a little familiar as well the guy with the dreaddies so your sales staff must be real good.
Keep it up. When I get over East i will drop in to say hello. i probably wont buy anything as i try to support my local stores in Geraldton WA. However i could be like DJ and think i died and went to heaven so anything is possible if i am in a weak state of mind.

I think there are more boards in your shop that in every shop combined here in Portugal!!!
Nice to see Beau on the wax on wax off thing, because he told me in France he wanted to shed some weight off. I guess his 8'0 will be floating a lot better when the new season starts!
I hope you aussies support this kind of store, because I bet there aren't many places stocking on everything from SUP's to Bodyboards. Here in Portugal we have a couple of really good surfshops (not SUP though, probably because the size of the market), but in general it's more about bikinis, boardshorts and T-shirts!

I know they have a Taco Van that pulls up several times a week - and the staff all abandon their work and carb load, Mexican style. Dont expect service when you see the van outside...
Coffee... well, I suspect they have a secret one somewhere in the store. It does cater to the SUP brigade, after all.... so lattes are a must!
