Taking a leaf out of the shortboarders tree
So this morning pumping around perth. swell shot up overnight.
Bit lumpy due to quick burst of swell, large swell, sea and NW on its way but waves to be had.
Mettams was mixed, large sets closing out but the in-betweeners provided over head lefts with time for a few turns and some good peakey faces. fun times. Unfortunately with a mix of SUPS, longboarders, shortboarders hanging on the inside picking and then those little boat people crowd was hectic by 6:15. may get quieter during day but wind coming to maybe swap to surfboard.
Im sure Trigg would have been pumping if you dare to SUP in the shallows. Creased 2 noses there hitting sand bars so beware, but saw a guy on a prowave get barreled tuesday there and come out so rewards for those willing.

Feel free to keep this going, maybe the east coasters would like to do similar.
ride on!

was even bigger this morning.
You get out Marco?
I knew Fluoro Friday would be havoc at mettams, busier than a non-swimmer on abalone happy hour, so paddled the short board at trigg instead.
Some boomers coming thru there, got some fun ones. Still a kook at prone boarding but love it.
Was very messy n choppy with backwash mixed in to give you the full wash cycle.
Watched 3 guys on fanatic DW/race boards struggle for about 10 minutes trying to get out the back then go do some training. saw the fear on one guys eyes, think he nearly gave up and went back to bed then a sudden lull...
Pretty good week really, been on water every day thus far. might need a lay in on weekend to recover and let the weekend worriors wrestle. Or Kite.
happy weekend peeps.

Yep,
Actually it was less crowded than yesterday, only 4 SUP's and about 6 longboards on the left.
Was a bit lumpy from first light but around 06:15 a few cleaner bomb sets came through, think I had more fun today.

Think I will pass for the weekend to, do a bit of poleboarding instead.
