When is someone going to have a ten foot plus section in their comps?
Nose rides, drop knee turns. Get some mal style in ya!!!
Would be fun!! Also one for the big units out there.
This is how sup started small wave longboard style sup it looks heaps better than small wave wiggles
It's been discussed at club level down here a couple of times...sort of on the radar but we're probably a bit early in the evolution of our local/club surf comps to figure that one out just yet.
LOl , they used to be all 10ft plus sup comps
seriously tho if you suppers ran 10 foot comps the numbers would grow.
Scotts Head will have a over 10ft surf sup on the Friday and Saturday
as long as there are the number
any size surf sup will also be on ,just enter the surf division and we will work it out on the day
see you in June

I agree wholeheartedly with this topic. I think sup is all about longer boards and style. I have just spent the day at the NSW titles and it was a huge disappointment. True the waves were small and gutless but the surfing was truly uninspiring. Guys on boards way too small for the conditions wiggling around with a total absence of style. Almost half of them knee paddled out.In my opinion this isn't how it should be. it looks better on longer boards.I'm not necessarily advocating 10' boards but for a lot of conditions they've gone way too small.
