Additionally everyone will have to use the same board for all 3 races.

Okay that gets awkward as there was a lot of board sharing between categories in the sprint races at Supfest, before the borrowers had to use their own board in the 5km race.

Hey PT, this is only for the Black Blade. Haven't had the de-brief for the SUPfest to discuss this further. Locally there is no need to share boards as everyone can bring their own board. There are some boards that draft better than straight line racers - don't want see the event become a board speciality race - we have only just got away from the 12'6 confusion in racing.

Great day on the water yesterday! Couldnt have asked for better conditions. Well done to all competitors and to Will and Belinda for taking it out! Cheers to Greg and the volunteers on the day for running a top event at a great venue. Also to Starboard and Ian for the great prize and sponsorship of the event. Any photos guys?

Thanks to the little boy who pulled my number out of the bag for the draw - it all went perfectly to plan!
A big shout out to Ian from StandUp Paddle for his sponsorship of the event - I think it might be time to get a board for my kids.
Thanks also to SUPWA/Greg and all of the helpers running the event so well - it was very slick indeed.
Congratulations to all the racers on their efforts, especially Will and Belinda with such a dominant display on a great day of racing.
Cheers
Pete

Here's a couple

Thanks to all involved in putting on a great day.
I really enjoyed being on the other side of things and having the opportunity to be involved in the timing of the races. What a great facility and great being able to use the available technology to good use in deciding races down to such a small margin.
Thanks to starboard for getting behind this event.

Another outstanding day of SUP racing!
Congratulations to all paddlers...especially the winners!
Great to see some rookie talent blasting onto the racing scene - showing the sport has got a great future.

GK was brilliant in coordination (but must paddle next time!), Jodie + partner were adept in the tower and on the BBQ...Adam was most proficient with the starter's gun...TKU!!
Everyone keen to pitch in to get the bits and bobs done so all could race...awesome!

Great format, superb venue (Tku to Jamie & Venue's West) - outstanding!
Major league thanks to Ian and Starboard for getting behind a unique style of regatta.

DJ
