Hey all, here's my little video from the Doctor race on the weekend. I must say being a novice ocean paddler with 2 months worth of downwinding experience, really pushed my endurance to the limit. 3hrs44mins and 27km's later I was ready for a beer...and an ice bath!

Cool! and how good does the water look. I always forget to look at things like that when racing, Beautiful spot and what a great fun race.
I had a blast.
Be back next yr foresure.

Great video
How did the DC go happy with it ?
Cheers
Yeah I love my DC. It's probably a little advanced for me at the moment in the ocean, it want's to race ahead and jump onto all the runners and sometimes I don't react quick enough. It's super light and responsive. A month ago I snapped this board clean in half in a mongrel shorebreak but it has been really well repaired and now you would never know.
Cheers for watching.

Yeah it is such a beautiful spot although I don't know if I would describe 27kms of hard paddling as fun. Perhaps for you hardened professional types it's a walk in the park.
Glad you enjoyed it.
