Nothing to do this weekend? Then come on down to Sorrento for The Great Peninsula Paddle - starting at 12 noon to take advantage of the outgoing tide.
This is a fun event, with funds raised going to RecLink and the Portsea Surf life Saving Club.
All participants in The Great Peninsula Paddle 2012 will be in the running some great prizes - check out the event website for more information and register now.

Here's a photo from last year's event to whet the appetite.
Note: All participants have to wear PDFs
Hahahaha, I just could not resist that one.
I just read the post where you mentioned Vicco's not being stupid enough to wear computer files and then...... Blammo! Hahahaha.
So you can put away the PDFs and replace them with PFDs ... and yes all in good fun! Although I was looking forward to seeing PTWoody with a PDF on
I prefer my PFD because my PDF take so long to get open..
Shame it's such a late start on Saturday.. I might have to start work late this Saturday..

Hi DJ,
We might come accross by Ferry if I get a flight back from Brisbane in time, do you know anyone who is doing the car shuffle back from Portsea to Sorrento with 2 x people spaces and 2 x board spaces?
Or I guess we could just wait for the tide to turn and paddle back low is at 1.30pm I think.
Phill
Guys - transport is available between Portsea and Sorrento and we will have our trailer available to transport boards as well - hope to see you on the day.
and if you need a PFD - check this out. Can't help with PDFshttp://www.pfdinabag.com/
Weather forecast for saturday for the Peninsula:
Partly cloudy. Winds northeasterly averaging up to 25 km/h. Max Temp 30deg - should be fun!
Looking forward to spending the day down there tomorrow,
and as the race finishes at the Portsea Pub beer garden maybe a bit of time in there to.
