Saturday evening after dinner took to Westernport with Helmy about 8.45 p.m.
Conditions were magnificent.
Nice photos Nozzie, looks like a very pleasant evening was had.
Glad to see your still getting out there regularly.

Thanks ET.
I try to get out every morning - succeed a bit more than 50% due to weather.
Was a bit interesting given the amount of beer and wine we had drunk with dinner before going out.
Very rare to get Westernport in that mood.

Great pictures.. Nice pair of 17' Jav's..
Can't control the picture upload - its gone in to your quote.
That's my "old" 17' Glide, and my new carbon board bought after Merimbula.
Couldn't keep Helmy off it all weekend.
Spent a fair bit of time on the pictures, levelling horizon in Photoshop (thanks Weiry / Cobra) , and erasing date stamp, more for the learning than anything else.
Helmy showing off
Note the admiring bystanders on the beach...
When youre 5'4" tall, paddling a 17'4" board gives you a compensating feeling of power i gotta say ...makes you feel like telling the people on the beach to "fk off outa my beach you peasants!"
Yep was a great paddle

Nice..btw Naish changed the name from Glides to Javs.. Just wondering.. does the new one say Glide or Jav on the bottom?
They do look very javelin'ish..
The photo of the bottom is the new (2012) one - the old one has a fin box where the text would be.
I think at Merimbula, I looked at Helmy's 12'6" from similar vintage (2012) and it was a "Glide Javelin" or "Javelin Glide"
Whatever they are called, nicest board I have ever paddled.
And since I got the first one in early October I think, have not been tempted to paddle anything else.

I have never paddled the 17 Noz but since I bought my 14' Glide about a year ago I rarely paddle anything else.
To me they have just sugh a lovely feel to them, they suit my style of paddling and are very forgiving as well.
Keep having fun.

Nice work Nozza!
Thanks Stu - nice to know someone is reading.
Have you started the "big board" build ?
