Looks really interesting. Curious about how the blade width will effect catch on race boards. I'll wait for some more reviews and the release of a SUP sized blade before thinking about it too seriously.

Since I'm stupid enough to repeatedly buy the latest fins gimmick, I'm definitely all in on this next revolutionary design, calendar marked for opening day orders.

I thought it was for outriggers? Is there a SUP version?

So I just scored a mint used Vdrive from quickblade. And this was a lucky deal as my fun budget is dismal these days.
How does this price translate to aus$ because here with the euro=$, 600 is kinda nuts. I have recently sold some old boards and the new owner said it was crazy the paddle will cost more then a board.

I thought the same concidering the April 1st shipping date.. Then I noticed that JR was using one on his foiling paddle up clinics.. and I also noticed them being available for OC1's.. I then came across this vid showing a guy using one.. Not the best advertisement for them..

Oh dear.
Recovered well using thongs on the hands.
I love my QB's but reckon I'd bash my rails to death with that wide ar5e blade.

It would require a heavy adjustment in paddle stroke. I imagine you would have to have a pronounced tilt on either side to keep the paddle head away from the rails.
