Brutal head wind for the last 1.5km around the point. The other 16km was a brutal west wind blowing you off the coast line. Plenty of bumps just had to pick the ones to head north and not west. 55 or 56 racers all up in the distance race today.
Epic race with very challenging conditions. Well done to everyone that finished and a BIG thank you to Surfing Qld for a bloody top run event.
