The Eddie could run tomorrowhttp://live.quiksilver.com/2009/eddie/news.php?btn_news=_over
"All eyes are on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday - all three days are forecast to exceed the event's required minimum threshold of 20 feet." (our Tuesday is their Monday)
Jamie Mitchell has been invited as an alternative so hopefully it runs and he has an opportunity to surf...
Sorry not the Doggie, love to see in some juice though.

If anyone's been to the bay ,you would know a two foot shore break CAN drag you way out the back in no time. This is one serious place,in awe of the POWER.
mac
scuse my observation, but does anyone here think that there are two drop ins and it may not be a party wave situation!!!!!
With Tom Carroll out injured this may open the door for Jamie Mitcell, as an alternate.
It looks likely that it will run tomorrow...
How come no Tony Ray? Almost won the contest a few years ago, now not on the invited list. One of the very best in my opinion.
The word is that the Eddie is about 90% gonna go tomorrow (12/08/2009) North winds are backing down and turning more into trades so it should be epic! Just hope the swell isnt too big and closes out the bay. The spot today was Jaws on Maui, lots of epic shots coming out of there.
That was great.. Andy's shore break barrel was epic.
Great stuff by Kelly Slater (2nd) and Greg Long (1st).
