Here is a great article on the King of the Cut race, it's fast approaching who else is coming over?
We have some great downwind tracks in WA but this is the best, great atmosphere, great race, ran by a dedicated SUP crew.
If you can't make it over this year lock it for next year, this event is doubling in size and stature every year.

Those that know for sure will probably confirm but I'm pretty sure it is PFD and flare, no PLB required, well that's what it was last year.
However I just bought a PLB so I will be taking that anyway.

I may have a spare Coastrunner if you want to use it Kieran. Seems to be your backup board over here on the west coast for you.
Coast runners still one of the best ocean boards going around.. Don't ever see them for sale
5 of us gave the King of the cut a smash out last night 24.5 k for most of us found the last 4 k quite testing some found the first K testing too Kent
Yeah, the coastie served me very well on my first attempt at the doctor last year!!

Just got word that Penelope Strickland from NZ is heading over for KOTC & The Doctor.
She came 3rd at M2O this year and also 3rd at the Maui Paddleboard Race.
