From a competitors' view point, I'd have to say that the Collie River would rate as one of, if not THE best flat water paddling location in WA.
Damian and his Bunbury SUP paddlers are very lucky indeed. It's no wonder they are all so passionate about their paddling !!
All the Bunbury crew, along with assistance from the SUPWA committee put on a ripper event, that will surely grow rapidly in to a 'must be there' event.
From a sponsors' point of view - we are stoked to have been involved in the first SUP event to be held in this beautiful part of WA, and we look forward to being involved with this event for 2015.
A huge thank you to Damian for making the event become reality, who was very ably assisted by a large group of local SUP addicts.
Another big thank you to all the crew who made the effort to travel from far and wide to compete on the Collie River - I doubt whether anyone regretted their decision to attend !!
