Very tricky light, but here's a few from the 30 minutes I spent up at Palm Beach Yesterday to see the first heat.
Unreal photos JB wicked colouring ... When u gunna be back in the water for these comps ?? Though you are doing a good job on the sand .... That 30mins was the best of the day as was followed by Chucky getting carried off in an ambo with a dislocated shoulder and a 30 knot on shore!!
Thanks Dan, Yer was really tricky light to shoot in. Not sure when I'll be back in. at this point between working most Sundays now and my back only lasting about 30 mintues with SUP, maybe towards to back end of this season. Missing the sessions for sure.
Tried to load up a few more but seabreeze went mental. It is really a difficult image uploading system, Lozza, you need to make it easier!!

Pic No.15 Backhand bottom turn;I put this pic up on a computer at work as a screen saver and at a larger size could'nt help noticing the way the water is shooting straight down off the outside fin.It's a great example of the way water comes off the board turning on edge at speed,I would never have thought it would have traveled downward like that.P.S.I love the light.
Hey Gumballs, I totally agree about the fin spray. Unusual! But the board and fins are really working. The shot captures the body rotation and paddle leverage perfectly. Great surfing, photography and facial is not bad either. Nothing on a goat face though
