If you could sup anyware on the planet where would it be?For me it would be the wild west coast of tasmania up some of the unspoilt rivers and possibly going where now one has gone before. But ill need to buy a uli first.Anf for waves the Maldives.
St Kilda marina... ....Just kidding..
I agree Tassie would be great but I've seen the West coast and I think the East coast would be a better option.
Warm water would also be a good option..Maybe sharing waves with friends or paddling glassy water with dolphins.

Nice pic,s DJ yeah east coast has some great spots but for shear adventure the west coast has it.Padling in Maquarie harbour and up the Gordon river would be awesome.Ocean beach has some pretty nice waves if the conditions are right.
"i've been everywhere man" - but i can't go past 2 spots in south australia (one popular, one semi secret) - but i'm not telling where
pete
a few come to mind .... outside corner at ulu's and dreamland ..... both would let you in so easy ..... and want to see what happens on a sup when you hit the shorebreak at dreamlands
Lord Howe Island - I haven't SUP'ed it, but I'm sure anybody else who has been there will agree with me that it would be absolutely ideal.
My favourite spot to SUP would be anyway HOT & Tropical and no need for boardshorts.
Heaven would have to be somewhere you only have to pack bikinis for! but the waves can't be TOO meaty, just nice and fun.
Somewhere like the photo below. Me and my mates in newcal on kite boat trip. Now newcal would be great place to head with a sup.

When it's too windy and choppy in the ocean, this is a great spot to paddle. Bridgewater Lakes, Western Victoria.
I've had a good think about this and my spot for a long distance open ocean paddle is close to home in Victoria. I'm aiming for a paddle from Walkerville South to Bear Creek on a hot and glassy summer day - the conditions need to be spot on when it happens. The access to the beach is good at both points and I believe it's about 8k of the most rugged, lonely, and unspoilt coast lines you are likely to see in Victoria.
This would be the starting point at Bird Rock. The backdrop to this coastline is Wilsons Prom that you can see on the other side of Waratah bay.
For surfing, there are so many places, but it's so tied to having the right conditions. At the moment I can't go past Crunchies at Point Leo for consistent good w/e sup conditions, I hope it's good tomorrow. Love the spot.
My futur local dream sup spot :
A part of the new Unesco world heritage site.
Its near the only one beach surf spot of the island.
200 km from Nouméa.
