.....and of course i think the sup seabreeze community is pretty lethargic. Not many people making videos....Not many people making positive noises about their sup activities
And have I mentioned how much I dislike "new model sup board stuff" being put in the general section rather than in the "board talk" which is where it belongs :). Always Grizzling

I reckon as SUPer we are too busy writing and SUPing instead .
like yesterday ,small waves ,all the surfers with there 5.10 and 6 foot boards and most of them 85 -90 kg
Siting on the beach ...too small for them

so it was me and 12 boogie boards ..heaps of waves ...FOR ME .

have you got any surfer mates ...Giz ...that just refuse to buy a SUP .
i have 8 mates that reckon Im just a old prick who can't surf ,short boards ..

but who was having the fun for the last stinking hot 5 days ...with 2 foot waves ..
it was the dudes with SUPS .

I also reckon as a knowledgeable SUPer like you ,most things will be boring ,now .

We still enjoy your stories pal.

Your a dam fine fisherman TB

OG was great back in the day and DJ has slowed down posting ask him.

Skeee is doing some good posts collecting videos around the net.

I sadly notice that the video posted by AA about Bert's shaping courses did'nt wake up no much concerns.

Still good to read some more funny things from Macaha and was great to get some news from LL

Boring to me, is not an absence of controversy, I can live without the drama... plenty of that on the news

I always look forward to the Breeze around this time of year....
Your season is just heating up... everyone buying new boards and gear..... discussions are usually in high gear around now.

Been away for a while and am back now. Whilst absent I have been following both the Longboard and SUP forums. I am a long term fanatic of both disciplines.

To answer Gizzies question, yep the SUP forum can be a bit boring, but isn't that a matter of opinion. If the post is boring "don't Farken read it". You will get a lot of advice, equipment details, pointers and reviews on this forum. This input could and can be boring.

SUP is a relatively new activity so the progression of design and innovation is going to be quite rapid. Therefore more info in a short time frame.

Longboarding on the other hand is the ORIGINAL surf based pastime. It has been discussed, refined, dissected and reviewed more times than I have taken a crap. I am 62 so I have had a lot of craps too.

I will state that there seems to be more fun or lighthearted posting on the LB forum, but this could just be because of the people involved. I have met a couple of these guys and they are easygoing fellas.

so to stop rambling I suggest:-
1. Maybe SUP could have a bit more fun or loose posts. This however is up to the members. Where are you Leroy?
2. Don't always be serious or take every post seriously. I have been taken too seriously in the past when I thought I was being funny.
3. Be more accepting of different views. If you want detail ask for it. I do know of a few members who are inactive because they were derided for their comments. This is a Farken forum after all.
4. Get out and have fun. Report about the fun if you want too.
5. There is an Hawaiian expression that I am trying to put into my daily life "Hang Loose". I don't mean going commando by that expression.

Last but not least -

DON'T LEAVE YOUR FARKEN PADDLE IN THE CARPARK YOU DOPEY PRICKS

Thats all I have to say about that.

ET.

Why am I reading this thread. It's sooooo boring. Why would you post something like this in the first place. If the form is boring. Post something to liven it up. Don't complain about it. Do something about it Jeez
