How does the rudder work on the 18 foot paddleboard?
Can you use the rudder both in the lying position and in the kneeling position?

Hi PetrokoThe rudder has a pole that is extended on the deck that is used like a tiller extension on a yacht. This is usually 3 or 4 long which makes it long enough to come up between the paddlers feet when he is kneeling. This gives the paddler the ability to adjust the rudder with their feet. When laying down the pole sits up between the knees which also gives the paddle the capability to steer. There is usually also an elastic cord and plug at the top of the pole which auto corrects the steering back to straight when the paddler is not adjusting.
