nice vid thanx , wonder what shape and dims the top guys use , most are light weight types .

Baz, not sure on all the dims however the tail on the board at the 8:15 is much much wider than the "norm" and apparently has a concave/spoon shape to it. I saw some other footage of them and talking to those in the know up at Noosa over the weekend is one of the biggest design changes for quite a while

Yes I've noticed those very wide straight tails coming out of Hawaii of late.

Yes I've noticed those very wide straight tails coming out of Hawaii of late.


Dane Perlee has been doing them for several years now,underground so cal ,but not with the tail deck concave that I have seen ?
