Beautiful big Dick Brewer Locky, seen a few when I was in Hawaii,I could only afford the T shirt, love it!...
Cheers Al G,
Word on the coconut radio is DB finally put the tools away last year. Apparently he suffered weeks of discomfort after a Bulsa chip went down his throat. OUCH! Was so stoked to find it, as I searched the Island for weeks, as there ain't too many left. This was one of 2 shaped. The other one made it to the Mainland US, but coped a bit of damage to the tail on the way over.

If you do, I think they could flatten the nose out a bit more. They are 4" thick in the middle and then it tapers back to about 1" thick at the nose. Would be a heaps better nose rider if they took out the lift on the deck and didn't taper the bottom as much. I find that when both feet are about 15 - 18" back from the nose it bogs down from pushing too much water.

I reckon the rocker is fine . I'd maybe get a little more tail lift . If anything I might get the nose pulled in a bit .
Still a lot of discussion going on in the line up on the weekend about the lazy cheating wave pigs on big boards, one guy was very outspoken.
Nothing stopping them buying one and joing the fun.

That could improve it! Push a bit less water and even square the tail up as well. Good idea.

Yeah Pieter explained the process, it's totally for utilitarian purposes. Use volan glass and squeeze as much resin out as possible, results in less weight and as a result really shows up the weave of the glass. We decided on a sanded finish as part of the weight saving initiative and for that bit more old school look.
The stringer is a cats eye type which tapers from 1/2" at each end to 1" at the centre.
Good Bull Terrier that guarding the owner's boardporn from Varmint Magpie intrusions
Yeah he's a 15yo American staffy and almost totally deaf, I still wouldn't want to be a stranger walking in the yard though, his teeth are still near perfect and he's very protective.
Funny thing is he'll let the maggies pick at his bone while he's chewing it, good friends apparently.
