Cali mini review, its a beast to carry to the waters edge, floats paddles well,I need to adjust my paddle in position on take off a couple of nose drives due to the board being so flat.I think I nearly killed lacey on one.Managed some cross stepping with over the nose or side dismounts, rode a couple with both feet facing the front, boards stable as,board loves a pivot turn trims like a dream.I was worried about the 11.5 GG fin but as I said it turned without an issue.

Cool Vanders how long were you guys hanging in the shed and what happened to your triple stringer set up,I do like that wide one tho You are letting Chrispy go nuts on the art right

Now whats the difference between the Easy Rider and a Hot Log

Mac, SDR had this blank with a 1" wide paulonia stringer & I liked it so we used it.

We got there around 9:30 and I left at 2pm, we stood around talking smack for a couple of hours before we started on the shaping & Chrispy supplied morning tea.

The difference between the two? I have no idea, I just know after riding Boofy's Hotlog that was what I wanted.

Should be glassed next week when the Lady returns from holidays.

Art will be a single colour tint without Chrispy influence.

Another fun day at the house of clearwater. Always good to see vanders, and I'm pretty envious of his new ride....also I realised how far down the food chain I am,as it takes years for me to get a board done,......vanders just strolls in and bang,it's done

Just sitting here staring at balloon board. Gripped and waxed,fi.s are ready to trial. Now for some waves. Might be a little extra time in the car for some better swell to break this bad girl in

Not in the same league as the previous boards, but finished this today.

10' 3" x 25 3/4 x 3 3/4

2 x 6oz deck x 1 x 6 oz bottom, epoxy resin, which is a first for me. A few blemishes but I am happy overall.
Need to cure it for a month apparently, which is not an issue as I am not surfing atm, but will be soon. :D
