Hi,
I'm coming off a 8'0 foam board, am starting to do turns and would like to get a board that is relatively easy to paddle and is moderately durable.
I am 80kg, 5'9 and surf 2-3 times a week all year in the Gold Coast.I am trying to decide between these 2 boards (or any others that you suggest).

Something under 8'6 is essential for fitting it in my vehicle.
Thank you

Good day mate, I did a quick google, the Coaster looks to be the pick from those two boards, more user friendly Maywood is a pig style board and not so user friendly, From the sounds of it your keen surfing 2/3 times per week I think you would be soon looking for a upgrade if you purchased one of those boards your currently looking at.I would bite the bullet buy some racks and go for a 9.1 there are much better options out there.
Mac will go nuts. He hates sideways
Only jealous people hate, trust me I'm not hating
Thank you for the answers so far. I have racks on my car, but I surf Vegie work and leaving it on the rack in the sun is a bit of a problem which is why I was looking at getting something that would fit in the car.
would something like this ECS board be similar to the Free Flight?https://ecsboards-australia.com/contact#contact_form
Also does anyone know anything about the durability of the Free Flight Coaster?
