I'll probably get in trouble for being off the forums for 10 years and then showing up with an off-topic question, but that aside.
The family and I are relocating to the Goldie for work. If anyone can recommend a "straight-shooting" real estate agent in the Burleigh - Palmy area and could PM me their name that would be greatly appreciated.
you do realize they are putting a tram line down the middle of the Palm Burleigh hiway , reducing the lanes to 1 each way in Palmy , that and another 20 sets of traffic lights , 3 sets for every tram stop , here at Broady in rush hour can take 1/2 hour to travel 500 mtrs , worse in Surfers . Check GC gov website for future approved developments , people are buying units not aware that a hi rise is going up close by that will shade their unit permanently also a lot of 3 hour parking , check for that as most units have only 1 parking area , also parking at beach is very hard to find like Burleigh Currumbin after 8 am is mostly full all day .

Hey Bazz cheers for the link was a good read. I've been looking at the tram stuff, it will definitely have an impact. Think it's a good distance either side of the tram line they are rezoning. There is already a couple 7-8 story buildings started in Palmie they are doing pre sales for, they look a little out of place to be honest. I saw a plan/drawing to extend the rail line down past the varsity lakes stop to the airport as well, think it looped around through surfers.
Thank for the name Macaha, will give him a bell in the next week or two, yes Kingfisher seems pretty prolific around there. Still trying to sort through any changes to my travel based on today's announcement.
On another note, I found Black Hopes the G.O.A.T. in a Sydney bottle shop. Pretty decent beer (I'm on a cloudy IPA kick ATM) need to get up there and try the rest of their range .
