First trip back after c19 , got heaps of ok waves.
Just saying , lots of sharks, Russians and wannabe expats(poms,squareheads,canuks, asians and some oz) thinking they own the joint, still a good place to visit. Different vibe altogether compared to before 2019
For those that did not no , Uncle Tom cafe GONE. Putu still going strong at Dekis. prices similar to pre 2019 except the restos the Russians have taken over

Yeah my last trip was a month before c19, wife family and a few friends have been since unfortunately getting taken over by the cool crew. All being well I could be back within the next three months appreciate your post.

We are heading over to Bali in September. I haven't been for about 15 years so I'm sure I'll notice some differences. We are staying at Karma Kandara on the southern end of the Peninsula. Ulu's is close by and I have no idea if that southern coastline has decent surf ?

Very much a family holiday but will hopefully get out at Ulu's for a session or two.

Lol 15 years in Bali is like another lifetime ago. You won't recognise a thing mate.

plenty of waves close by. if your up for it make sure you do the f....in steps to surf green bowl its not far. Fun wave, my favourite over there. A half decent left when its on and multiple rights. Enjoy
