Hey,
I damaged my board today and wondering if anyone can tell me if its repairable, worth repairing or should i just invest in another board. I have no knowledge on surfboard repairs and the effects of damage. The board is a NSP Epoxy Funboard.
Thanks in advance

Make sure you use "epoxy" resin.

I'm pretty rough with my repairs so not the best advisor. I'd simply let it dry out for about a month, epoxies suck in a lot of water & it is this time of year. Maybe queensland is warmer than here I guess. Bare in mind this is the perfect time to mope around the house for a bit & inform your missus that damn'it you need to buy another surfboard. But you will keep this one just for a spare.

Once you have bought a new surfboard & let it dry. Rough up around the area to ensure the resin (epoxy resin) bonds well & also wipe sanding dust from the board. Then watch a few youtube vids to learn some stuff. Do not use solarez for that repair. You will want epoxy resin & catalyst to make it harden. Some thickening agent like Q-cells to plug the hole up a bit would be good too. Could be other products around now, I dunno coz I still have a ton left over from a past life as a fibreglasser.

But anyway, yep nice easy repair provided you use the right materials, don't use too much catalyst & don't dilly dally. Otherwise it will harden up as your fiddling with it. Plan to do it in stages...best of luck & let us know how you go
