I want to get an 8'er from Sydney to the Sunshine coast.
Tom is currently standing in for Nick (surf freight).
John from Board run.
Chris (not sure of Co name) board courier...
all not doing runs.
Any suggestions?

I was forced to go with Qantas Air freight Qld to SA due to regular couriers shutting up shop. The plus is same day delivery (left Coolangatta this morning) but will it get here in one piece? Also the shaper had to get someone else to pack and post it because he's developed a bad cough and just now 6 baggage handlers at Adelaide Airport have tested positive. I feel like I'm going to pick up a live grenade.

What are you buying now CF?

8' is a bit above mid length and into mini mal territory

What sort of cost Toobz?
I think only Jetstar and Virgin fly into the sunshine coast.
Brisbane would then be closest.
Rubber gloves on while unpacking.
Wipe the board down with metho or food grade antiseptic and self isolate it until the surf is flat because we don't want new board curse bringing on a flat swell early.

I think about $110 but that was last time. I used to get them shipped for $60-70 from Qld but last few have been $100 via courier. I rather pay the extra $10 and have it the same day.
Yeah definitely, I've got metho, gloves, wipes etc. all ready in the car.
From memory my McNeill came on a Jetstar flight?

Only good things to say about Chris from The Surfboard Courier, door to door, uses his own bags if required, competitive prices. Know he's still working as he dropped a 9 7 classic malibu noserider off to Torquay for me yesterday. Best of all he works in with the seller re pick up, will grab from home or work and even if you stash down the side of your house or something...

Well the plane got diverted mid flight back to Sydney last night. Board arrived this morning via cargo plane.

Can't say I'm surprised.

Toobz...Noooooooo! That sucks. after a heads up from Dools: Thanks Dools. Got a hold of Chris who had initially said he wasn't running when I contacted him a week or two ago. Now he's aiming for Easter delivery. Anyone needs a board freighted he's maybe the only one running still.
