All I will say I will say is

1. The lawn was mown last weekend, it's a Tall Fescue so you have to keep it longer. Weiry, you need to swat up on your knowledge of different grasses, maybe we need a new thread all about grass

2. Fence before boards baaaaahahaha AS IF

3. Yes, I'd almost be disappointed if there wasn't an Mct forum hack

4. Yes my daughter is waaaaay cute, she either has mostly her mother's genes or I'm clearly not the father.

5. The SDR and LOMC shaping, designing team freakin rocks. Amazing take on the Tas Tiger, the pics just don't do it justice, she's even textured the burnt orange/brown core color and I think the wax will even improve it. Wanted something unique and tasmanian, was expecting a board with two noses but I'm stoked

andy try the go pro in the mouth (you just bite on the foam & tie it off on wetty zip),tends to be a lot more steady, and saves us the crotch shots
also
Andy,Ted would hate that wax job.

yes you are right, your gorgeous kid must take after her mother.

and i will take your advice andy and go and get Fescued

ummm, please explain the issue with the wax job??? always go across the stringer, then with the stringer, then the rails for hand grip...

the problem with the mouth mount is you are surfing with a camera in your mouth... enjoying the surf is my primary goal, some cool footage is kinda secondary. I do have a grip so I may try popping that down my chest zip then pulling it out and holding after pop up. I originally used on the nose facing forward ( I hate when people nose mount facing themselves, narcicistic ) but on the LB its so far out front you don't get the perspective of the wave, check this vid, was about chest to shoulder high but looks tiny...

so I was looking to try this off the tail instead...

Haha, I don't know what sort of porn you boyz are watching but I'm more than a little concerned

bloody handy mount that though, you can adjust and lock at each ball joint...

And lacy, that fin does rock in small conditions, super stable so when it's turn, trim and walk/nose ride is really good but rubbish if the size is there for carving

That is one cool looking colour scheme.
Dropped into one of the local surfshops and lo and behold there were a few new CW boards in there.
They were a few minutes from closing time on a Sunday arvo so I didn't have time to have a really good look at them.
Plus I've still got the look of the widish nose channel bottomed, double concave bottomed, 6' (not even a mid-length length) Beachbeat single fin I'd just spied at Beachbeat 30 mins beforehand burned onto my retina.

Nice looking board & I like the fin. Looks like it would have to be good for nose riding

Christened her this morning with a waist to shoulder high point swell. Was slightly cross wind and blowing hard so a nasty chop on the water made it pretty tricky, especially on the takeoffs... but gotta say, either i was surfing really well or this is THE best LB I have surfed.

1. Even with the pivot fin the bottom turn is AMAZING, managed some lovely smooth carving turns.
2. Paddled and caught everything, the sweet spot is soooooooo sweeeet
3. Handled late takeoff's WAY better than my 9'6" and nearly was well as the 7' fish. Took a few that would definitely not made on the old LB and just cruised into em super easy.
4. The holding on the wave is amazing. SDR talked about a concave that suck the board onto the wave and i was like, yeah, that'll work (sarcasm) and bloody hell it does. whilst I didn't manage a 10 i managed a few 5's and plenty of time on that front third and i'm sure that had it been cleaner i woulda nailed it STOOOOKED

full review to come but needless to say, i definitely made the right choice
