Hey Guy's, I've been offered the chance to pick up a 9'6"Classic Malibu Noserider second hand, but in very good condition. Can anyone advise me on the pros and cons of this type of board.
Cheers
Go for it. CM boards are really well regarded here on the Sunny Coast. Great build quality, great range of shapes. Proven to work on the points of Noosa by many happy repeat customers. I've owned a couple of CMs (not noseriders) over the years and reckon they are great. But yes, The Big V may know more than I do (most people do.)
Here's a link you have probably already seen. Looks good to me!

Cheers Wavelenghth,
Yeah, that's the one, except it's got "Jai Lee" written on the deck and she's a triple stringer. Very nice looking board!
Sorry can't help you but Vanders is the Sunny Boy man.
I say go for it, anything produced in God's country north of Brisbane has got to be good.
But seriously I've got NFI.
Its cheaper than a new one. I suppose if you dont like it you can move it on and should get your cash back.

Good point.
I know of Jai Lee from Deus vids like this, but have never seen any of his boards in the flesh. They appear to go well & triple stringers are usually more pricey.
Stupid slow board packing start to this vid, but after that there's some nice footage...if the boards A1 then its probably worth it, but I'd still try n skim a $100 off
Any chance to grab a new board should be grabbed with both hands...failure to do so may result in beer fines or insertion of mango's
That board will be perfect in nice soft point waves or beachbreak. As long as you've got those kind of waves around it would be fine.
May sound dumb question but is it fibreglass construction?????
Not dumb mate, yeah she's fiberglass.

Sounds good to me. The points only pump a few times a year down this way, but there's plenty of beachies. I'll post pics tomorrow.
Looks good Steve. Keep us posted on how its going.
Looks like the points will be kicking off tomorrow morning, I'll let you know how she handles it.
