It could be an XK 120 or XK 140..hard to tell.
But Jacks Jack and that's that..the man who is famous for creating the Wet Suit..no doubt I will be corrected if wrong
He lost the eye when his board came back at him and smacked him in the eye..early 70's..the leash was invented by his son Pat.
Now back to wagons..
I'de say judging by the back bumper bar on Jack's Jag it's an XK140,the bar curves right around with the rear fender they don't on an XK120.
Cool 58 Chevy wagon SB
A couple of classics in the background and a Esso fuel tanker,Main Beach shortboard days 83
Haha classic, both cars in the background are HK Holdens, cooool sedan and wagon behind ya.
I was riding a short board in 83 to
I collect sunnies and still have those orange speed glasses
Yeah ,geez had a lot of pairs over the years to Mac,the old Ray Bans,Bolle,Oakley Blades, etc,
/\ /\ /\ That's a good photo chrispy it really highlights a strange fact about the Kombi, we think of it as being so big in comparison to a beetle, but in fact, they shared the same 2400mm wheelbase throughout their life.
They used their space very efficiently.
A nice light blue colour one for ya Mac,"CARN THE BLUES"
Yes its a beauty all right.
I pick up a set of wheels last week from Sydney which I've been hunting for a year they are so rare second hand,I'm stoked.
Oh enjoy the game.

Hey Mac,what's the name of the wheels,I looked for mine for about that long for the wagon, hard to get HK Tasmans.Yeah thanks mate you enjoy the game to,should be a good one!...
If the wheels you bought are alloy, they could be a little bit buckled, mine are but you just get the tyre fitters to balance them the old school way, with the weights on the outside of the rim!...
Mate they are off a SQ5, I scored mine a week old some nice person put after market rims on his haha mad I reckon.

Ah ok,cool that's a good score
Don't know if it's Classic, and not that old at only 25 years or so, but back in the old troopy for a few days.
Nice relaxed drive - acceleration was an option not ticked, but at 537000 km, still going strong and nice and comfortable (25 y.o. recarro seats).
Running water through the footwells in Melbourne rain, and wind actually whistles through the roof rust holes.
But it has a certain presence.
