Yeah Pup,looks like a brand spanker, the old HQ GTS,love em,nice car but if that's a Panno it's a custom because there where no GTS Panno's,judging by what looks to be XA GT bonnet scoops I'de say it is anyway .The HT/G Belmont van to the right of pic is a rare one these days, some of them in good nic are getting up in the dollars now,few chores to do today, surf is small but will be cruzin/searchin in the wagon tommorow

Reckon you are on the money Al. There is a small glimpse of the roof on the drivers side and you can see the gutter. Looks like a panno to me.
Keep the pics coming, but where are you finding them all?

One of the most iconic and evocative images ever. Simon talks about this Falcon in his book.
Ahhh, the Escort Panel van.
I had forgotten what it was called, but that was a Sundowner - don't know what made it different from standard apart from the paint and the porthole window.
I had a Mk1 Escort 2 door sedan, then a MkII Panel van that I thought was it and a bit.
And I thought I was it and a bit in it - bought imitation minilite mags for it from a wrecker, battled rust holes in the front doors through entire ownership.
Seemed like a long time then. but was only probably 3 years or so.
Roof was so low you walked in to the end of the roof racks every time you walked around the car,
A bit light in the rear end made wheel spin easy.
You had to fold the front seats forward to get enough length to sleep, and I'm not tall.
In 1984 or so I lived in a share house where all four residents drove Escort panel vans.
The neighbours were horrified.
Only one had a Sundowner, the poor man's Sandman.
The others were one Mk1 and two Mk11s.
Only surviving photo I can find, I think of the Mk 1 van.
That's the house after the 4 van house - this one was only 3 vans.
Great, care free times
Found some images (not our vans)
I doubt many survive but I may be wrong.
