I know a few of you look at Matt Warshaw's sites.encyclopediaofsurfing.com/
If you don't, check them out - a wealth of information there.
He went subscription in May this year, costs $3 a month or something, too much information in there to look at, he updates weekly.
He's looking for money to stay afloat, otherwise the sites, info, and archives will disappear.
Have a look, even if people subscribe it will help, or donate.

Don't let this stuff disappear, or I'll have to find another way to waste my evenings.
No affiliation apart from an avid reader.
Great resource, hate to lose it I can loose myself for hours in there. 3 bucks a month is nothing.
My understanding is that his Mrs gave him till 2012 to pull at least 30k pa income out of it and its never go there so she's put the foo t down.
Ben some great support and he's getting there, but what I like best about Warshaw is even though he's trying to raise some quid, if surfers are broke...he'll allow free access. That won me over, and I'm happy to pay if it helps someone who cant.
The weekly newsletters he does are worth the subscription, without delving in to the archives.
Agree, can loose hours in there.
I've also sent him a couple of specific questions, and got a reply straight away.
Well worth it.
