Fin from a Burl

I love the look of this fin with the laminate from a redwood burl, I reckon a burl from some of our native eucalyptus trees would do an outstanding job.

Maybe it's time for someone with the artistic skills like RG to start looking around his property for the odd burl or two

I know good ones are in big demand because wood turners luv'em

I have a big jarrah slab burl Obs it's big enough for a reasonable sized coffee table .... will take a pic soon and post it up , I thought the same

I left a big burl at the house we sold last year that I'd had from a bush block we used to have 11 years ago. I should have kept it.
