Me and Helmy only, did't upset anyone. No one else there. Apparently not worth going out.
I rode 3 waves!!!!! Don't think that will dimish what is available for the rest .
I now understand what "stoked" means
12 months ago I would never have done this. much less tell a bunch of blokes I don't know I did it.
Ted, TK, MAC (whichever one you are), Wiery, ET,' TeaTree, Chrispy (crunchy), PUP (fck it is early in the west when you post, GET SOMETHING UP YA), Gizzie, Towball,MC, Okanui, I give up. Forgot Lacey - get well'

Pffft...I know much bigger guys who still get on a big fish occasionally, but surf longboards mostly...gratz on the stoke, time to get a longboard mate. Trust me the stoke level will get much higher after riding your boat.

PS I have a 10'6 SU666 too that I surf when its under knee height. Good board to have in the quiver

Everyone probably still laughing at the fat old bloke that thinks riding a 666 in 2ft windbblown crap is surfing!
But I'm still smiling (through the headache)
And I didn;t put on a mini skirt.
Or a mini mal!
I notice the waves have already doubled in size since I first posted

Well done NOZman. Way to go.

As Vanders says, it doesn't matter what you surf as long as you surf.

I am stoked for you my man.

My offer still holds. PM me anytime if you want a chat.

Don't forget, the SURFer with the biggest smile is the one having the most fun.

Cheers.

ET.

Hey Nozza. I hope those photos were at the end of the session. Otherwise you were in danger of being locked in by the Rangers once the sun set.

had a chance to SUP surf Shelley near the high tide the Saturday before you with only 5 of us in the water. Really cruisy waves but still fun. Even had to make an effort to fall off occasionally as it was getting too hot in the wetty.

I love it when it's not crowded...

Vibe was so good even the ranger tooted and waved.
Only the two of us out, but anyone more experienced probably would not have bothered.
Friday wore wetsuit pants and vest, which was about right. Saturday wore steamer and cooked - had to go in for a swim after we came in.
I'm just loving getting on a wave!
