i reckon this board started of as a joke-

straight of a ironing board outline.

With all this talk of mid length forums I think I might start a mini forum (5'11 and under)...loving the minis at the moment.

Gee thought one of those boards was a nano. If it wasn't a nano its a darn good rip off. The other board surfed a bit ordinary comparingly

Sorry LL as Cuttlefish said its not a Nano - its a Daniel Thomson-shaped 5’1″ planing hull though - this is the board below. And as you can see he has some history with Tomo's boards - here he is with a Vanguard styled one in that heat against Dane.

The thing about this is I can't say I've ever seen Curren doing an air before.
Not that I care for airs but it's probably a measure of just how invigorated his surfing feels on these boards.

Even after all these years ,I never get tired of watching tommy, so smooth, so smooth. Brings back fond memories , of his earlier surf flicks.
