So, Bec and I ventured to Mullaway (with Arrawarra firmly on our agenda) on Friday for a weekend on the new logs and for an escape from Sydney.
We arrived Friday and shared over 300mm of rain, howling SE'ers and nothing but brown water and mush on the Coff's Coast.
The highlight was a group surfing inside the Harbour at Coff's Harbour but we decided the probable ear infection wasn't worth the risk.
Sunday morning we packed up and headed south destined for Crescent Head in the mild hope of snaring something worthy of paddling out into.
It was chunky, frothy, disjointed and actually quit big on the sets but with the 9'6 Vouch on the roof, worthy of a 'get wet'.
Bec stayed ashore and dried out in the partial sun and grabbed these snaps of the session;
....we finished the weekend off with a beautiful sun shining lunch in Port Macquarie and stumbled on the novelty wave breaking down the rivermouth so the SUP's came out for some mid afternoon low tide fun before heading home last night....love a roadie !
