.....ok ok...just popped in coz I've passed 100 pages in KOngs book (Gary Elkerton) & it has been a great read as recommended (cheers). Had been a long time since I had seen him surf, probably that time he snaked me at South Point lol. So have been watching some funny old school vids on youtubes like this one...intro is fricken awesome (-ly funny)
Jodie Cooper interviewing Kong back about when his book launched, 52 mins long but worth a watch if your having a few beers...was very cool to hear Gary has opened a swimming centre for kids up to 10 yo that brings them up to a certain level, then they progress to the ocean & learn how to deal with rips & currents.
