Watched a great show on channel 9 the other night about the Perth live band scene in the 70's & 80's...was pretty cool hearing about them talking about old pubs & clubs going off with local bands. I was a paper boy selling papers Friday nights till 10pm from age 11 to 14 in the early 80's & remember the pub scene from then. Very different from now or even the 90's.
A true golden age, doco can be seen here https://www.9now.com.au/pub-bands-legends-of-perth/2016/episode-1
One of the bands they talk about;
Yeah Cool clip Mick,Boys, geez I remember seeing them in the Sydney pubs back then,good one
I don't remember them to be honest mate, they certainly had/have the skillz. But I do remember a lot of other bands on the doco, such a great time mid 70's to mid 80's for Oz

I don't know........this is kind of like spoilt aussie brats visiting a foreign country........and having zero compassion for some local guy who is trying to earn a living by selling the occasional pair of sunglasses ?
