That's bad news Chrispy, the old black dog is a burden if it sits on you.
Hope he gets some help.
it kind of been my experience that most ultra competitive people seem to have issues.
to them they feel worthless and people wont like them or talk to them or something.
that fear drives them. they are defined by results only
if they win or do well they're on top of the world .
if they,ve done bad or even average its a world not loving them anymore.
so their downs are really big downs
while it might seem like they have it all............
im no rocket surgeon or a brain scientist just what ive seen a few times

thats why most men suffer the hardest, not just the successful peeps. the im tough it will fine only works for so long....the few beers at the end of the day to ease the pain does not work for long and quickly escalates into far bigger problems.
the old cliche, the bigger they are the harder they fall sums up men and the black dog to a tee

Hey boys I just fought the dog for 12 months, surfing was my escape but also a hinder as the highs from real good waves would give you the best feeling then as the waves declined so does my feelings and back to darkness it's tough. I sought help from some fine people and bottling things up and staying tough is only making things worse hope occ pulls through
sounds like your getting on top of things Ash,good luck.
we need to talk more about the black dog and help brothers suffering.
never call them weak.
