These are heaps of fun. The original trucks are great for carving along a path.

Hamboards Classic 6'6"
Originals, 90mm wheels, roll on anything and you can paddle them.
You can cross step, nose ride, face plant.

I had to bring it in from the States, they now have a QLD seller.

Horrendously expensive but worth it.
Go next door, then look in the Lonely Guy's annex.

Nozza's looks good, you still have a bit of tail to step on to tic tac out of tight spots.

Just pinch a picket from someones fence, plug in the jigsaw, shape one up, drill some holes, whack on some grip tape & your good to go

Yep wasn't cheap, but I have a top speed of 30kmh and can maintain 20-22kmh for 5kms (GPS verified - had it the pocket) without pushing and get to do forehand and backhand deep carves when just having fun. It can be HEAPS cheaper with just a Bennett front and Tracker rear truck and they work really well.

The brackets change the angle of the kingpin and really do change the feel of the board. I also went stiffer bushings at the back and softer at the front compared with what came with the Poppies.

First vid is the cruise pump/carve, second is the speed wiggle (nowhere near as stylish).

If you have crappy knees and ankles like me that make riding a bike or jogging painful, then this is a decent workout for the thighs and core. The 85mm wheels I have make most stones not "stop rocks". I have fallen over throwing a big carve on wet pavement, but not from a stone.

When I use it for carving downhill I dewedge the rear heaps (its very dead for pumping usually).

LDP - the fun, cool thing for broken down middle age men who don't care what others think.

wear a helmet

oh and cutting up in a car park or netball court is great fun.

But my planter fasica which has been good didnt like paddling the board along.
Coffee run board
Im going to get another smoothstar. Dolphin crusier 39 inch.
Yeah my running is over so this will be my leg /core workout . You can carve them along pretty good
Cheers
