Hi legends,
Coming off spinal surgery. Rehab is mostly strength training and swimming .. three years out of the water but given the ok to get out the back.
I'm pretty fit thanks to rehab and I'm about 83kg and 179 cm. Been surfing longboards mostly last bunch of years. Before I had surgery I was surfing a 7'2 21? 2.75.
Looking for something a bit longer around 7'6 - 8'0 with a bit more foam and width. Not really interested in a mini-mal.
Keen to go custom and happy to consider any shaper interstate so long as they ship their boards to WA.
My last shaper was Len Dibben, an absolute legend in WA but he's having a well earned rest and shut his bay a number of years ago. I've got a Len Dibben 9'6 that I love but a bit much for me at the moment.
Any advice much appreciated
Cheers

Thanks mate. Steve is a very nice bloke for sure. I met him through rhe longboard club many moons ago before he went to Queensland . My wife has a beautiful 7'0 shaped by Steve 15 years ago.
I'll hit him up.

On the subject of Clearwater has anyone surfed the kingpin model longboard? There's one I'm thinking of grabbing and looking for a ride report

Chris Garett, Phantom surfboards on the nth NSW coast. Just call , talk and understand requirements. Absolute legend surfer/shaper from burlz back in the 80/90s until now, knows how to create a great board of any dimension.

I've been riding Mark Ogram boards for a few years now. Yahoo in Dunsborough have a great crew. Good interaction with your shaper of choice and the crew there know their stuff.

I have three Moanas. They are described as mid lengths but work very well.
