I think a lot of the blokes who post here ride, and have ridden, many different shapes over the years. I understand a longboard is usually categorised as over 9' long. My 1st love in boards are McCoys. If I did a post here about my 7'6" Potbelly nugget at 67 litres volume, or my 8'2" all round nugget, would there really be a problem? Sure, they aren't longboards, but I would be reasonably sure that the majority of shortboarders would see them as tanks, despite how well they surf, especially for older/slower/heavier riders. Same with the post on Rory Russell's guns he is shaping at the moment. For those of us who were around in the seventies, seeing beautiful reproductions of those boards brings back wonderful memories- Surfer magazine from the states with Lopez relaxing at Pipe on a red tinted Lightning Bolt. We value hand crafted boards of all descriptions- granted I have no interest in 6' white thruster pop outs from big brands- I could never surf the bloody things when I was young let alone now- But my 1st twinnie from Hohensee on the Goldie in 1979- 6'1"- god how I wish I still had that!! The pure lines of a 7' single fin with tints/rail laps; Mark Richard's multi-coloured twinnies- imagine shaping your own world championship boards!- McCoy, Fitzgerald, McTavish, Dick Van, Tolhurst, Cundith etc etc the works of art these blokes and more produce are worth celebrating no matter what the length. AND I reckon you blokes on the LB forum would appreciate them more than the SBers. Hell, a young bloke, a surfer in his 20's who is a friend of my daughter, had never even heard of Morning of The Earth. Drip feeding him my DVD collection now!!!
I've seen Swaylocks threads get nasty and be shut down- let's all share the stoke of beautiful boards!

The difference in a mid length "piss take" is when you call me all kinds of names because I post about them and then threaten to sort me out at a later date because you know where I work.
That's not contributing to a good vibe and was definitely an attack.

if you have been threatened and been definitely attacked.
theres a flag next to the thumb sign just press that and admin will suspend the offender straightaway, if theres any truth in your statement..

You've got to be kidding now.
Since your posts in question were heavily red thumbed and the mods subsequently deleted them but let you keep posting.
Which leaves you to go on your merry way, deny it ever happened and now make out like I'm a liar.
This is pointless.
