Pulled out the old girl the other week and thought id ask the minds of the longboard greats in here after seeing the Burford restoration page, Can i get the twist out of the tail and Is it worth it ?

Cheers for the help.

yup, wait till summer, get 2 level board stands, strap ur board to those stands as hard as possible and leave it in the direct sunlight (in a board bag) and every 2 days come out and reef those straps tighter and tighter. If u stick at it for 2 months u will get it easy, i have done a few myself

Apart from the twist it looks like a good board, I'd try & fix it for sure

You will have to do a "straightening" thread for us Towny so we can see it in action

not in my experience no, suppose thats where a really good thick board bag comes in handy. It would make total sense if the board already had some delam and it could/would make it worse. Looking at the hayden it may have some early signs of delam, i think i can see a bubble
