many many years ago, I recall asking a motor cycle geek a question about the square 4, I asked "how did they keep the 2 rear cylinders cool?". His answer was one of the simplest I've ever heard, "they didn't!"

I've posted them before but hey, there's a place for them now.
These are some of my rides I customised from long before the likes of Deus helped push the price of small cc dungers through the stratosphere.
Both of these were ridden hard in the twisting mountain roads of Northern Thailand and put away wet. Not my yard btw.

I'm going to stash a couple of boards at my mate's place at Burleigh so I can then zoom down on this for a quick surf without having to muck around with traffic jams on the gateway. Lane splitting is legal.
It's not an old classic yet but it emits a rumble from the Yoshimura pipes that would give a jellyfish a horn.

i grew up in a sidecar attached to a 56 square four, apparently my oldman didnt have a problem with it,but it was an issue, the one pictured runs real well and could be bought for 40k,the same guy owns 250 classics, including

triumphs, couple of royal enfield 750s and plenty of others, ive seen his shed

When I was 12, I'd had a few goes on a mates Honda 80 or whatever it was...then went to a pine forest with a mate & his old man. Mate was fanging around on a 125 trail bike & I was given a Suzuki 250 road bike. I went wide round a corner & went under some kinda bush tree with low branches. I ducked my head down, but had my arms up & as I went under the branch it hit my arm which in turn throttled the bike. I lifted my head just in time to see this pine tree in front of me. I steered to the right & got almost all of me out of colliding with it except my left leg. The collision ripped me off the bike & the bike just kept going. I jumped up thinking oh nohhh the bike. But collapsed with a sudden surge of pain to my knee. Luckily the bike just rolled along untill it stopped & fell over without damage, thank fark. But I've shyed away from the buggers ever since. Then I almost fell off the back of one when a mate suddenly accelerated with me on the back holding a carton of beer on the way back from the pub lol...I'd really prefer to me in a car anyday, if anything happens your in serious danger.

But yeah, I don't mind putting around on a moped in the quieter parts of Indo...I take it real slow though

Sure, sure I'm not blaming any kinda bike...simply stating I've had bad experiences that have left me feeling apprehensive to riding motor bikes.
