my doctor has got me onto this course of gel for some skin/sun damage to the sides of my forehead, temples and inside the sideburns area.

its expensive - doc says they always make it dear when it works. 3 day treatment. last one tonight.i don't look very good atm .haha. 3 tiny tubes of this gel. I each night for 3 days

im a mild case.at has a very good rate of success they say. anyone else tried it.

thought I would put it up because im probably not the only fairer skinned person in here.

cheers

I had the cream treatment a few years back and my head came up in a lot of red blotches but after a week I put some cortisone cream on to finish the treatment and all fixed.

Yeah, Lace I have used it twice on my face in similar areas to you.

I have to do it again in about 12 months or so.

It works but is costly, how much does it hurt on the first night. Farkk me I thought some gremlins had got under my skin and were dancin' about.

The best I could describe it after the third day was that my face looked like a bubbling cheese pizza.

There is another one that I will be trying on my arms, it is similar, one weeks treatment, twice a day. it basically takes of the top skin layer that contains the skin cancers or so I am told.

no beauty prizes whilst under treatment that's for sure.

Good luck.

ET.

Hi guys I have tired this treatment last year after my annual skin check with my doctor. It worked great but post treatment was just like you have all experienced.

Two weeks ago I went back for my pre summer skin check. My Doc (he is Canadian) said I needed some more as I have more rust that needs removing.

He then went to explain that apple cider vinegar does the same trick. Just soak a cotton wool bud in it and place it on the damaged skin for 3hrs three days in a row. he told me the drug companies know want the general public to know about this.

Now I was very sceptical. So after trying it I found it works just as well and is it cost me bugger all.

I am not lying it works great. There is still some redness but nothing like the prescribed stuff.

Try it fella's

I used a band aid. Just tear off a small bit of a cotton wool bud to match the size of sun damaged area.

Might try the apple cider. Tried efudix and a milder one on my arms/legs. Did nothing!! Doc said it didn't work on some people. Possibility of trying something stronger/more expensive in future.
