+1 for the van dude, buuuuut, if you need the 4 seats and or the tray for other stuff (like me) then I love my Mitsubishi Triton, why you ask? Well the middle back window slides down, so you slide the boards across the top of the tarp and into the cab through the back window, can seat 4 with 2 x 10'ers and a cpl midlength. Used to drive Toyota Hilux but would never go back, the Triton is way more comfy and the Hilux is so overpriced...
MMM888888!!! Go a van.
Like you, I have a twenty minute drive to work. So the car is just for fun!!
My 9'6" fits under the bed platform I put in the Hyundai Iload diesel. Nose fits under the passenger seat. I can put 2 mals in and decide what to use, when I get there. My son's work vehicle is a new diesel Transit. Very impressive as well.
Oh, and fuel consumption is excellent.
Ute with a fibreglass canopy for mine. Not very stylish but very very practical. Nothing does storage like a ute. Plus you can get canopies for tray backs and well bodies.
This
yep just like someone said earlier the ute is the go .............chuck the board in the back easypeasy
Yeah,48-52 chevy pickup, cooool.that's what I'm heading for next HOPEFULLY!
Buy a decent sized van.
This one's a 5 seater and I have an aluminium double bed base in the back so boards go under that away from prying eyes.
Great on fuel and with a deep cycle battery/inverter set up I have 240V power.
When its raining or cold its great being able to get changed out of the elements.
You would be in heaven with a 57
Or have plenty of room for your friends and boards in a falcon
You could even be in the Vanguard of a new tend
perhaps a sporty convertible would be more your style
Or reminisce about those fun filled carefree days in the Hitler Youth movement
But then, just a teardrop may do the trick
The options are limitless.
How about this one?...not to high to put the board on...
That poor old wing mirror is copping a hiding
It's fortunate that it's a rat pup, otherwise that duco would be ruined if anything acidic dripped on it
I saw a really nice split screen Kombi driving up in Sydney a few months back . It looked unreal. They sell for heaps these days. I've heard of figures up to 100k for really good ones.
How about this one?...not to high to put the board on...
I hope thats not you missus cause if it is you married a man bro
